Funds for Fundamentals
Funds for Fundamentals is Omega Nu's program to help defray
teachers' out-of-pocket expenses for classroom basics. This program is
one of the organization's most important ways of distributing money raised
through Ducky Derby and other events. In January 2012 Omega Nu distributed
162 individual teacher grants, totaling $24,000, to the following 7
local schools:
Aptos Junior High
Branciforte Middle School
Mission Hill Middle Schools
New Brighton Middle School
Scotts Valley Middle School
Shoreline Middle School
San Lorenzo Valley Middle School
